SCHOOL OF NATURAL SHAMANISM & LAMMAS EARTH CENTRE TERMS, CONDITIONS & CANCELLATION POLICY

By enrolling in or booking any event, workshop, retreat, or practitioner training with The School of Natural Shamanism or The Lammas Earth Centre, you are stepping into a space of learning, transformation, and deepening your connection with the sacred arts. We welcome your commitment to this path and ask that you honor the structure and integrity of our offerings.

In this age of rapid information sharing, we recognize the importance of safeguarding the integrity of our course content, teachings, and techniques. This document ensures the protection of intellectual property, ethical practices, and professional standards, while also outlining financial commitments and withdrawal policies.

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COPYRIGHT

The teachings, materials, and course content provided within any training, event, or retreat are the intellectual property of The School of Natural Shamanism and are shared with you for your personal and professional development.

To protect the sacred nature of these teachings and ensure their responsible transmission, the following restrictions apply:

• It is strictly prohibited to copy, record, broadcast, reproduce, or distribute any course content in any format without explicit written permission.

• Teaching, commercializing, or passing on any training material in a professional or public setting is not permitted unless explicitly licensed to do so by The School of Natural Shamanism.

Respecting these guidelines helps preserve the depth and integrity of the teachings. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of participation, legal action, and withdrawal of certification without refund.

2. ETHICAL CONDUCT & CLIENT SAFETY

Practitioners trained by The School of Natural Shamanism are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring that their work fosters safety, trust, and well-being for all clients.

• Sessions must be conducted with respect, professional boundaries, and integrity.

• Practitioners are expected to provide a safe, trauma-informed, and inclusive space for all clients.

• Any reports of harmful, unethical, or unsafe practices will result in an internal review, and the School reserves the right to withhold certification if conduct is found to be inappropriate.

3. PRACTITIONER LICENSING & SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Upon successful completion of a training program, practitioners are licensed to work 1:1 and in group settings as outlined in their specific course.

• Certification grants permission to facilitate the modalities, tools, and techniques taught in the program within a professional practice.

• Certification does not permit students to teach, train others, or create derivative courses based on the materials received, unless explicit written authorization has been granted.

• Misrepresentation of training qualifications or unauthorized teaching of the material may result in withdrawal of certification and legal action.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT & PAYMENT COMMITMENT

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place in any event, workshop, retreat, or practitioner training.

The deposit is non-transferable to other events or future dates.

The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before an event unless cash-on-arrival is explicitly stated in the event details or as agreed within a practitioner training payment plan.

By booking or enrolling, participants enter into a legally binding contract and commit to full payment of the event or course fee, regardless of attendance. If full payment is not received by the required deadline, the participant’s place may be forfeited, and cancellation terms will still apply.

5. WITHDRAWAL & CANCELLATION POLICY

5.1 One-Day & Multi-Day Events & Workshops

If a participant withdraws before an event, the following terms apply:

More than 4 weeks before the event – The participant is released from further payments, but the deposit remains non-refundable.

Between 4 to 2 weeks before the event – The participant is required to pay 50% of the full event fee.

Less than 2 weeks before the event – The participant is required to pay the full event fee, as their place has already been reserved and late cancellations affect the viability of the event.

If the full balance has already been paid, no refunds will be issued for cancellations within the 2-week window before the event.

5.2 Practitioner Training Programs (£2,500+ Extended Study Courses)

Due to the limited spaces, financial investment, and preparatory commitments involved, the following cancellation terms apply:

More than 8 weeks before the course start date – The student is released from further payments, but the deposit remains non-refundable.

Between 8 to 6 weeks before training commencement – The student is required to pay 30% of the full course fee.

Between 6 to 4 weeks before training commencement – The student is required to pay 60% of the full course fee.

Between 4 to 2 weeks before training commencement – The student is required to pay 90% of the full course fee.

Less than 2 weeks before training commencement – The student is required to pay 100% of the full course fee.

By enrolling, the student enters into a legally binding contract and agrees to pay the full course fee, even if they withdraw after the specified deadlines.

6. NO-SHOW POLICY & PAYMENT ENFORCEMENT

A no-show is when a participant does not attend an event without prior written notice.

• No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for no-shows.

• If a participant has unpaid fees, the full balance remains payable and must be settled within 7 days.

• The School or Centre reserves the right to deny future bookings until outstanding balances are cleared and may pursue formal debt recovery action if necessary.

7. EMERGENCY WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE

If a participant experiences a serious personal emergency such as severe illness or bereavement, they may submit a formal withdrawal request via email to [email protected].

Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and at the discretion of the School or Centre, the following may be offered:

• A partial deferment to a future event.

• A reduction or adjustment of financial obligations.

• A request for supporting documentation, such as a medical certificate or bereavement notice.

Deferrals are not guaranteed, and all decisions made by the School or Centre regarding emergency withdrawals are final.

8. WAITING LIST & REPLACEMENT POLICY

If a participant withdraws and a replacement is found from the waiting list, the withdrawing participant may be released from some or all financial obligations.

If a replacement is not found, the original withdrawal terms will still apply.

The waiting list operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Those offered a place will have 24 hours to confirm and complete payment, after which the place will be offered to the next person.

9. EVENT CANCELLATION BY THE SCHOOL OR CENTRE

If The School of Natural Shamanism or Lammas Earth Centre cancels an event, participants will receive a full refund of all payments made, excluding any additional costs incurred by the participant (e.g., travel expenses, accommodation).

10. AGREEMENT TO TERMS & WAIVER OF COOLING-OFF RIGHTS

By enrolling, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, Conditions & Cancellation Policy.

You waive the 14-day cooling-off period, as permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, since event services are booked for a specific date.

For any questions regarding these terms, please contact [email protected].
